What happened to the Baby Boomers with this Cult Of Trump their into.
Too many bad acid trips, speed or coke snorting possibly. Too many drugs the baby boomers abused? Are we now seeing the results with early onset dementia? If you talk to young people, I read their blogs, and they truly hate these old baby boomers and say they hope they all die soon cause their ruing their future destroying the planet with their greed and selfishness and control. They went from Woodstock to Wall street. I do think the Baby Boomers blew it. They could have changed the world with their numbers. It started off great through the 60's but then died quickly beginning in the self absorb drug and polyester coke snorting culture of the 70's and eventual violence that made it's way into that youth culture such as what happened with Manson and his fake Hippie cult followers and Altmont with the Hells Angels ruining the event hurting and killing. So, instead now Trump and being known as a cult of deplorable's a term many Boomers wear proudly, will be our legacy instead of the leaders we once were in cleaning the environment, pushing social justice and change and the peace and love movement which was flowering but then killed replace with war and hate again like always down through history. We blew it. At least the music from the early Boomer generation will remain great and countercult pop and rock Guerrilla Minstrels those who made the protest music like Dylan, the peace and love songs like The Beatles, even the star spangled screaming guitar of Hendrix at Woodstock the rallying cry for a better world will leave some type of everlasting good message which may still reverberate down through the coming generations. That radical good message of love versus hate, unselfishness instead of greed, peace instead of war I believe we as Boomers have seemed to have lost our once valiant purpose of the wonderous 60's Ideals somewhere in our journey among the Stars called life. But the music may still carry the early promise forward.
